One of the services I provide is pairing you with the perfect illustrator for your children’s book. Below are the talented illustrators I’ve worked with who are already familiar with industry-standard processes and workflows.

Shannon McKeon
Shannon McKeon is an illustrator based in Oxfordshire, England. She began her art education at an early age, absorbing passion and technique from her mother, who is also a mixed-media artist. Shannon now spends her time illustrating children’s books and pursuing her own small art brands.
I love Shannon’s versatility, her dedication to the project, and her sweet spirit. From picture books to pen-and-ink art for chapter books, Shannon remains a favorite with my authors (and with me!).

Cindy Wider
Cindy Wider’s picture book illustrations are reminiscent of the golden age of picture books— the perfect blend of color, personality, and great artistic decisions.
Not only is Cindy an ambassador for Derwent Art and St Cuthberts Mill Products, she is also an art therapist, art lifestyle coach, and author of art technique books, which showcase her work with both colored pencil and charcoal.

Gary Wilkinson
Gary Wilkinson is a freelance children’s illustrator and caricature artist. Born in Hull, England, Gary soon moved to Kagawa, Japan after completing his BA in “Product Design and 3D animation” at Huddersfield University. Working on illustration for both print and film, his work has been featured in the “Japan Times” newspaper and in music videos and educational textbooks. Gary also draws live and realistic caricatures for publication and private commission.
From the moment I first saw Gary’s work, I was a super fan. I love that Gary’s work is unique and that you know it when you see it. Gary’s art is very fun, full of light, expressions, and great character design.

Mark Wilson
Mark Wilson is a self-taught illustrator from upstate New York, where he lives with his wife, Nicole, and six children. His playful artwork is fueled by his love for whimsy, dinos, and timeless comics like Calvin and Hobbes. Mark loves creating fantastical worlds full of adventure and heart. When he’s not sketching or imagining new stories, he enjoys the wonderful chaos of raising his lively crew of future dinosaur wranglers.
Mark’s creations are the perfect balance of fun and form. He creates art in both lined and lineless forms. He really knows how to capture the essence of the character, with a focus on animals, aliens, robots, and sometimes…vegetables and emotional support ducks.
