Memoirs are written for a variety of reasons, and the cover plays such a crucial part in this genre specifically.
As with all covers, though, it is still a marriage of title, subtitle, and back cover description, which is why I require all three of these elements before I invest any sweat equity into the design concept.
The memoirs below cover a variety of topics and all have their own vibe. My goal for each memoir cover design is to blend what the market expects with the author’s personal style and then to add my own magic touch. Like the memoir itself, each cover is a labor of love.
